TESCO Pembroke Dock had a ‘super’ fundraising weekend recently in aid of its charity partners, British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.
The colleagues in store dressed as superheroes on March 11-13, and Community Champion Sharon Bevans, with the support of her colleagues, organised a tea party at the front of the store, where customers and colleagues could have tea and cake, and even some super fruit pots in return for a donation.
The superheroes were a big hit with both young and old alike, and Iron Man, in particular, was a big hit for having photos taken with.
Tesco is keen to be able to help support charities and local community projects.
Tesco Pembroke Dock Manager Vanessa Martin said: “We are humbled by the generosity of our customers and colleagues who have donated both their time and money to make this a success for our charity partners.”
