PEMBROKE Dock Community School pupil Elly Neville and her Ward 10 Flag went along recently to Prestige Care Pembs Ltd to receive a donation of an amazing £1,000 for her Elly's Ward 10 Flag Appeal.

Elly, the daughter of Lyn and Ann Neville of Pembroke, has been raising valuable funds the refurbishment and upgrade of Ward 10 cancer ward at Withybush through her prize-winning collage of the Pembrokeshire Flag.

The fundraising campaign recently marked its first birthday.

Lyn Neville said: “Prestige Care is the first Pembrokeshire Care Company to show its support for Elly's Appeal and we very much appreciate their support as do all the nurses and staff on Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital.”

The cheque was presented to Elly by the manager, Kresta Allen, who has first-hand knowledge of the effects of cancer.

Elly also got to meet community manager Lisa Ladner and senior carer Laura-Jayne Everton.

Prestige Care Pembs Ltd is a domiciliary care agency based in Pembroke Dock, providing a home care service to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs and also the elderly.
