LAST Monday morning a number of Pembroke Rotarians and their wives left Pembroke for a visit to the Westminster Palace in London.
On the Tuesday morning they were given a guided tour of the Westminster Palace together with a visit around the chamber of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, an extremely interesting and educational tour.
At the end of the tour, Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire MP Simon Hart joined the party for coffee and an informal chat.
Members of Pembroke Rotary Club are extremely grateful to Mr Hart for giving up his precious time to answer questions regarding his daily duties as MP.
The trip was organised by Rotarian Dennis Jones who, as normal, ensured everything ran according to plan.
