PEMBROKE Ladies Lifeboat Guild members are hoping Pembroke residents will have a ‘cawl’ day celebrating out patron saint.
The ladies look forward to welcoming you all to a ‘Call in For Cawl’ lunchtime event on March 1 at Pembroke Town Hall, from noon-2pm.
The guild members will be serving Mr Mott's ham cawl, and a vegetarian option of leek and potato soup with Swansea bread and cheese for £5.
For those who want a taste of St David’s Day on the go, the ladies are offering a cawl takeaway for those in a hurry. They will also be selling coffee, tea and Welsh cakes for dessert.
