THE monthly meeting of Hundleton WI was held at Gilead School Room on Tuesday March 7.
The guest speaker for the evening was Adrian Cooke who spoke to members about My Journey to Chelsea Flower Show.
Adrian was part of a winning team that won a Gold Medal at the 2016 Chelsea Flower Show. He brought along many photographs of the Victorian Garden and explained the work involved to create such a wonderful achievement. He finished his talk with a Spring Flowers arrangement. A vote of thanks was given by Pat Preece.
Adrian judged the monthly competition A Flower Arrangement in a Cup and Saucer and the winners were: 1st Jayne Smith, 2nd Jean Cox, 3rd Sheila Evans.
Tea hostesses for the evening were Hazel Roberts, Mary Willington and Pat Preece.
The next meeting will be held on April 4 at Gilead School Room, starting at 7pm, Ella Robinson will speak on Egg Felting.
On February 28 Hundleton WI entered three teams into the South Quiz held at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot.
