THE Rotary Club of Pembroke recently held its annual Young Musician competition for pupils of Pembroke School.
There were numerous entries in various categories, with Joseph Garratt being successful in the vocal section, and Sam Hodgson winning the instrumentalist section playing the saxophone.
The winners represented Pembroke Rotary Club at the area contest, held at Nantyffin, Llandissilio. Unfortunately while giving commendable performances they were not successful on this occasion.
Competition organisers, Rotarian Richard Nordberg and Rotarian Dennis Jones would like to thank the school teachers, judges and contestant for their effort and support.
