THE Sing for Joy Choir will present a Concert for Sonia on Friday June 2 in St Mary's Church, Warren, near Castlemartin at 7pm.
The concert, arranged by Musical Director Sue Blick will feature a number of well-known items including The Rhythm of Life and I'm Gonna Wash that Man right outta my Hair.
Sonia Thompson had been an active member of the Sing for Joy Choir since its inception in 2015, also of Pembroke Ladies' Lifeboat Guild since 1995, assisting with many fund-raising activities, until she was diagnosed with cancer.
She received the most amazing care from the Paul Sartori Foundation nurses in her own home, hence the reason for this fund-raising concert to further the work of this much praised Foundation.
Tickets for the concert, at £5 each, are available from choir members or at the church door on the night. The choir looks forward to welcoming you.
Complimentary light refreshments will be served in the church afterwards.
All proceeds will be donated to the Paul Sartori Foundation.
