PEMBROKE Town Walls Trust’s annual Party In The Castle takes place on Saturday, June 17, courtesy of Jon Williams, castle manager and the castle trustees.

Invaluable sponsorship is being given by Valero, RWE Generation and Monddi, Design Agency.

The event starts at 5pm and finishes at 8.30 pm. Admission is £5 or £12.50 for a family.

Bring your own picnics, rugs and gazebos and enjoy our entertainment in the unique castle grounds. The cafe will be open for you and the castle itself can be explored all evening.

There will be lots to interest you and your family. Everyone entertaining you will be giving their time in aid of funds for Pembroke Town Walls Trust.

The trust has music from the Krooks band and the Razor Bill folk band, children's games, hands on pottery, wood turning, local artists, honey at the bee-keeping display, classic cars, a vintage tractor, local artists, willow modelled and grown locally, a heritage stand, Pembrokeshire Apple Juice Company, and Pembroke Town Walls Trust progress explained in a display and in the Castle video room.

So far this event has raised £2,000 since 2015.

After last year's event, organiser Daphne Bush said: “Members cannot thank everyone enough for such a great reward for their fund-raising at the Party in the Castle on Saturday last.

“The wonderfully happy atmosphere created by your enjoyment was priceless. Our thanks to the many families for spending the evening with us."
