TWO Pembroke sisters were the lucky winners of a 'mystery prize' at the recent 30th Playday event at Scolton Manor.

Parents and their children were given the opportunity to offer their thoughts about the day with their names then being put forward with a chance to win a `mystery prize`.

The mystery prize were two £10 Morrison’s vouchers won by eight-year-old Sasha Lewis and three-year-old sister, Lily, from Pembroke.

After being presented with her prize, Sasha said: “Playday was fun. We both had a great time and we are really happy to win the vouchers.”

Damian Golden, Pembrokeshire County Council’s play sufficiency officer, said: “I am over the moon that Lily and Sasha won this prize and by what they told me they are going to have a great time spending the vouchers.

“Receiving feedback is so important for us as it lets us know what families enjoyed, as well as areas for improvement. This is especially true as Playday continues to grow each year and we have to adopt and adapt as necessary.”

Damian said he was grateful to Morrison’s Haverfordwest Community Champion, Gladys Docherty, for arranging the prize.
