PUPILS and family members of Golden Grove School-Ysgol Gelli Aur recently held a Harvest Festival in St Mary’s Church, Pembroke.
The service was opened by the newly-appointed vicar, who thanked the congregation for their attendance.
The service was then conducted by Head Teacher Andy Williams. Classes from the school performed Harvest songs and poems to the delight of all attending.
In conjunction with the Harvest celebrations the pupils collected food, which will be donated to PATCH.
Mr Williams said: “It was a pleasure to have the new vicar at our service. The pupils gave good and meaningful performances for the celebration.”
