HOPES to provide a minibus for Pennar’s school and community received a recent boost thanks to fundraisers who took part in a three mile walk at the Stackpole Estate.

Pembroke Dock councillor Peter Kraus, involved with the recent walk, said: “There were mums, dads and there lovely well behaved children some were even in pushchairs, we also had little dogs join us from Posh Paws Pembroke Dock; what a turnout, the weather was good going on the out trip, but on the return from Stackpole Quay the weather turned nasty with heavy rain and wind, but it did not stop us, it is for such a great cause.

“Those children from Pennar Community School will have their minibus.”

It is hoped to raise £10,000 for the minibus, which would be available for community use.
