A SPECIAL festival celebrating all things coastal is taking place near Freshwater West later this Spring.

The brand new seaside event, the National Trust’s Festival of the Sea, is run in partnership with The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, and will take place at the nearby Gupton Farm campsite on May 19.

At Freshwater West, there’ll be activities such as rockpooling and a beach clean to help people make the most of the coast.

The seaside celebrations will continue at Gupton Farm with arts and crafts stalls, food and drink, and live music to enjoy.

Tuck into a flavour of the area with food and drink favourites from Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, Slow Pig, Tom Bean Pizzas and Barti Ddu Rum.

Have a browse of local stalls including: FreshWest Silver, Mena Ceramics, Tom Frost, I Sea Surfwear, Sakura Workshop, Charlotte Cortazzi, Surf Art Wales, West Coast Surf Wax, Jack Abbott surf photography, and more to be announced.

Throughout the day and evening, listen to live music from acts such as Firebird Trio, Fiddlebox, The Medleys, Lucy Jones, Daisy B, Mike Jones and The Pembrokeshire All-Stars.

Little ones will love joining in with the Trust’s 50 Things to do before you’re 11 ¾ activities too; from flying a kite to cooking on a campfire and creating wild art.
