ON Monday evening, March 19, at 7.02pm St Davids RNLI all-weather lifeboat Norah Wortley and her volunteer crew launched on service to a 35ft yacht.

The yacht, which had two people on board, was in a position approximately four nautical miles south west of Ramsey Island, and had suffered a fouled propeller and steering problems.

Once alongside the lifeboat crew secured a towline to the vessel and took it under tow to Dale.

After arriving at Dale and securing the yacht to a safe anchorage the lifeboat returned to station arriving back at 1am.
