The Waste Land at Haverfordwest Library
12:53pm Tuesday 3rd July 2012 in Local News
One of poetry's best-known lines opens The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot.
Published in 1922, the poem, filled with startling, broken images from a Europe struggling to recover from the Great War, is 90 years old this year.
To celebrate, the 'What Poetry' Group are presenting a dramatised reading of the poem in the gallery at Haverfordwest Library.
What Poetry at Haverfordwest Library is on Tuesday July 10th, 6.30pm, entrance free and open to all.
