YSGOL Bro Gwaun pupils in years seven, eight, nine and ten took part in a Maths Challenge Competition last term, organised by Aberystwyth University as part of their science, technology, engineering and maths programme.

Sportsman on course for new challenge

MATTHEW Morgan, a prominent local sportsman, has been successful in gaining a place on the Rotary Club Young Leaders course. Annually, Ysgol Bro Gwaun students in year 12 are given the opportunity to apply for places on the week-long course, which takes place in the Brecon Beacons, at the Dolygaer Outdoor Activity Centre, during the summer break. Students are sponsored by the Fishguard and Goodwick branch to attend this prestigious course.
