AT the last meeting of Fishguard and District Soroptimists, members were sorry to hear that Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner Christopher Salmon has had to cancel his plans to attend their open meeting at the Fishguard Bay Hotel on April 1.
Members agreed to accept his offer that his Deputy Commissioner, Tim Burton, would be happy to speak in his stead.
They were assured that Mr Burton will be willing and able to answer questions.
Members expressed the hope that there would still be a good turnout from local groups, organisations and members of the public.
The meeting starts at 8pm.
