THE towns of Fishguard and Goodwick have a new PCSO on the beat.
PCSO Carwyn Phillips joined Fishguard Neighbourhood Policing Team in August and will work alongside PC Kelly Jones and PCSO Sarah Martin to tackle community issues in the towns.
He originally joined Dyfed-Powys Police in 1989 as the ‘Bobby Van’ carpenter and visited many people in the Fishguard area during his time in that role.
Carwyn said: “I am looking forward to getting to know more of the local community, supporting those that need assistance and helping to deal with any issues that may arise in the community. I am also looking forward to being part of the excellent Neighbourhood Policing Team that already exists here.”
PCSO Phillips replaces PCSO Olivia Jones who has recently joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Newcastle Emlyn.
