Milford Haven's Torch Theatre is now home to two innovative dance projects run by West Wales arts charity, Arts Care Gofal Celf.

Every Friday from 11.30am to 1.30pm the Friday Project meets at the theatre's Junction Suite. This health and well being project offers a safe non-judgmental space for women of all ages to be active and creative. The workshops are primarily dance based, but sessions also cover music and percussion, creative writing and art.

Now in its second year, the project also boasts a subsidised crèche for under fours, run by professional childcare company, Little Cherubs.

"The crèche is imperative to the success of the project," said ACGC Dance Development Manager, Laura Jane Jenkins

"It allows for mums to have space and time for themselves with the security and comfort of knowing that their children, child or new born baby is being professionally cared for in the next room.

"This allows us to support women to keep moving while they are going through a major life change."

Workshops run on the last two Fridays in October and November and the middle two Fridays in December.

Each session costs £4.50 (£3.50 concessions) crèche places are £1.50 per child and booking for both adults and children is essential. For 2015 dates and to book a place call 01267 243815/07810 297198 or email laura@acgc.co.uk.

ACGC also runs Cwni Dance LegaC at the Torch Theatre on Mondays. This dance company is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. Youth company training is open to young people aged six to 17 and runs from 5pm until 6.30pm. The adult company trains at the Torch's Junction suite from 6.45pm until 8pm. Sessions cost £6 /£5.
