THE county town was awash with red, white and green for St David’s Day, as shoppers enjoyed a celebration of all things Welsh in Haverfordwest.
Crowds were entertained by Corlan - a mixed choir from Llanboidy – Hermon YFC duo Nia Lewis and Ffion Phillips, guitarist Peter Rees from Croesgoch, and young harpists from Ysgol Bro Gwaun in Fishguard - Ioan Evans, Carwyn Davies and Vaughan Batty.
There were also stalls selling a variety of Welsh gifts and produce, and plenty to see and do.
Tudur Lewis said it was “nice it was to hear the Welsh language out on the street in Haverfordwest”.
The day was organised in conjunction with Riverside Shopping, Pembrokeshire Welsh Language Forum, Merched y Wawr, Mudiad Meithrin, Menter Iaith Sir Benfro, TWF, Welsh for Adults, Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire College, Pembrokeshire YFC, and sponsored by the Welsh Government.
