YOUNG people from Stagecoach Haverfordwest will be performing alongside some of the West End’s biggest stars at a special fundraising event in Cardiff on Sunday.
A Night at the West End will see pupils from the performing arts school their hearts out at St David’s Hall next to some of their favourite West End stars, including Peter Karrie and Britain’s Got Talent performer Charlotte Jaconelli, an ex-pupil of Stagecoach, with other Stagecoach pupils from across Wales.
The event will donate funds raised to Tŷ Hafan, a children’s hospice service in South Wales and the Stagecoach Performance Opportunities Fund.
Haverfordwest Stagecoach principal, Liane Davies said: “We’re so excited to be a part of this event at St David’s Hall and to be working with stars such as West End musical director Michael Morwood.
“We’re also raising money for the STA National Children’s Choir of Wales, who have been invited to represent the UK in a performance competition in Disney World Florida in 2016. Our students have been working so hard this term and they’re thrilled to be able to sing alongside their heroes.”
