AN INNOVATIVE co-working facility is launching in Haverfordwest this week.

Located at The Coach House, Goat Street, The Creative Common will provide a ‘shop front’ and address for freelancers, homeworkers and small businesses who may not be able to afford their own premises.

The Creative Common’s founder, self-employed web designer Christian Senior, said:

“What we are trying to create is a community of like minded people who can help each other and share ideas. People like me, who don't really get a chance to connect and network to help their business grow, will have a place to work from and hopefully achieve more.”

Workspaces are available on 30-day rolling contracts, part-time or by the hour, with free trials on offer to interested parties. There is also a room that can be used for meetings, seminars or workshops.

“Regular free workshops will be organised to connect people and give existing local businesses a chance to tout their wares,” said Christian. “It’s all about encouraging people to use and buy what is available locally so we can all thrive.”

The Creative Common’s launch party is tomorrow (Thursday, June 4) from 7pm, with drinks and live music from Honey Fungus.
