A SPITTAL family recently had a get-together to remember, when five generations shared their memories.
Great-great grandmother Maisie Bennett, great grandmother Edith Whitby, grandmother Stephanie Gummer, mum Lea Whitby-Gummer, and little Maci Williams, all posed for a photograph to record the moment of family history for posterity.
Edith Whitby said: “My great-granddaughter had just turned one, and my mother has just had her 84th birthday in January.
“We all live in Spittal, except my mother who moved to Prendergast a few years ago.”
