Puncheston and District WI Held their Feb and March meeting at the school room, Puncheston. The February meeting was a talk and slide show from Wales' air ambulance which was greatly enjoyed. The members went out carol singing at Christmas and opened their gardens to friends and families through last summer and raised £255 which they then presented to Hannah Perkins for Wales Air Ambulance after her talk.
The March meeting was an evening of scrap book making we had a talk by Eiry Davies-Goodman and she showed us how to make a scrap book, it was very interesting and gave a lot of our members some ideas of their own. Competition inner favourite photo 1st Enid, 2nd Cynthia, 3rd Norma. A date was made for sewing up knitted squares into blankets as we have donated 22 to the Red Cross this year.
