Community waves off Jacob as he aims for Paralympic glory

British Legion:90th Year celebration!

The Maenclochog branch of the British Legion are holding a 24hr, 90mile sponsored relay walk starting at 12pm on Saturday the 24th of September. To commemorate this unique event, we as a branch are looking for 90 volunteers to walk one mile,or more should they wish. The route will be within the village of Maenclochog, starting and finishing at the Community Hall. Step out with Diabetes UK Cymru for a charity walk

Puncheston and District WI

Puncheston and District WI Held their Feb and March meeting at the school room, Puncheston. The February meeting was a talk and slide show from Wales' air ambulance which was greatly enjoyed. The members went out carol singing at Christmas and opened their gardens to friends and families through last summer and raised £255 which they then presented to Hannah Perkins for Wales Air Ambulance after her talk.

Scooter Stolen

A multi coloured Lambretta scooter which had been left in a lay-by after breaking down on the B4329 near Tufton was stolen yesterday (Sunday).
