IN THE first of a regular segment for the Milford Mercury, Year Five and Six pupils from Hubberston School tell us what they’ve been doing in school so far this term.

This week's junior ‘journalists’ are Nicole Wisby (Year 6) and Aidan Aldred (Year 5), who write:

“We have had a pleasing fortnight back in school and have some exciting gossip to share with you.

“In each year group we have had to vote for a Criw Cymraeg member. Every year group from nursery to Year 6 had the opportunity to join this exciting group.

“The Criw Cymraeg team is very serious and important because it helps lots of children and teachers learn lots of new Welsh phrases and facts.

“Everyone in Criw Cymraeg is looking forward to the new year ahead which will be full of fun challenges.

“Our hardworking Criw Cymraeg members are all enthusiastic and passionate about their Welsh and they can’t wait to give us lots of new fun facts and phrases!

“Tune in next week to see what other fantastic things are happening at Hubberston School!”
