PUMPKINGS and queens are invited to show their creative side at Milford Haven’s Halloween-themed street market on Saturday, November 1.

The weekly market will be given a spooky makeover, with plenty of tricks and treats on offer.

West Wales Ambulance Service will be providing free ‘fake wounds’, a face-painter will be making visitors took terrific, and there will also be apple bobbing and other games.

And, thanks to a donation of 20 pumpkins from Spar in Charles Street, a pumpkin carving competition will also take place, with £50 up for grabs for the winner.

Emma Lee, Spar deputy manager, said the firm was happy to help support the market.

“One of our goals is to help the community in any way we can,” she said.

Market manager, Byron Jenkins, said: “It’s amazing the support we’ve had from Spar, it’s been fantastic.

“This will help us to raise funds so we can put on more things around the market.”

A colouring competition for all ages is also running until this Saturday (October 25), to take part pick up an entry sheet from Cariad Crafts in Charles Street.

The market runs from 10am until 4pm, on Market Square, at the end of Charles Street.
