A GROUP of ladies in Milford Haven who 'knit and natter' for the benefit of charities have raised £200 for Wales Air Ambulance.
They sold their knitted items and decided to donate the money to the helicopter charity.
Collecting the cheque, Community Coordinator Tony Key said: "We're very thankful that they made us one of their chosen charities, and think they do a great job supporting good causes!"
Wales Air Ambulance is an all-Wales charity providing vital emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening illness or injuries.
The service has carried out over 18,000 missions to date since its launch on St David’s Day 2001.
A pilot can have the helicopter airborne within 3 minutes of receiving an emergency call, and can reach anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes.
