ST MARY'S Church in Hakin was the scene of a celebration to commemorate 80 years of the Hubberston branch of Mother's Union.
The service was attended by Vice President Val Petherick and Deanery Leader Gwendoline James.
With representatives from local deanery branches and clergy - both past and present - from the parish.
The guest speaker was Rev Ken Sharpe, former curate of the parish.
A beautiful cake was cut by Gweneth Davies, who holds the title of longest serving member with the branch, at 59 years.
A vote of thanks was given by Mrs Petherick, and the afternoon was concluded with a scrumptious tea.
