A TALENTED 10-year-old from Hubberston has had a busy month, performing at the Millennium Stadium and her hometown's 225th birthday party, and featuring in a music video.

Seren Jade was among acts to perform at the stadium on June 11, as part of a ceremony that saw the Queen present new colours to The Royal Welsh regiment.

The infantry regiment formed in 2006 after the merger of the Royal Welch Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Wales, and the ceremony was the final formal recognition its service.

About 600 soldiers marched from Cardiff Castle to the Millennium Stadium for the ceremony, watched by about 10,000 people

Earlier this month, Seren also performed on stage at the Torch Theatre, as part of an evening of music and magic to celebrate Milford Haven Founders' Day.

And last weekend, Seren appeared as an extra in new boy band Boyz Club's video, filmed in Neath.

As well as singing and playing trombone, Seren is also a member of KT's musical theatre group, based in Milford Haven, and has been accepted into the Junior Conservatoire at the Royal Welsh College Of Music and Drama.
