STUDENTS from across Milford Haven have been giving the town a 'peace of their mind', in the hopes of spreading a message of love, unity and respect.
As part of the United Nations' International Day of Peace on Monday, September 21, students from Milford Haven School and surrounding primary schools worked together to create more than 1,000 origami birds.
The town was then 'peace bombed' with the birds.
The art project was the idea of a group of Year 11 pupils at Milford Haven Secondary School, with help provided by pupils at St Francis, Hubberston and Hakin primaries.
The paper cranes will be on display at a Peace Exhibition at Milford Haven Town Hall from 3.30pm today (Wednesday, September 23), which is free for all members of the public.
