There is still time to win £100 worth of camera accessories in Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum’s (PCF's) wildlife photography competition.

The deadline for photograph submission is midday on Monday, February 1. The competition will be adjudicated by a panel of local judges and the winner will be announced at the Pembrokeshire Wildlife Sightings event.

The event, which inspires local naturalists and photographers to celebrate the diverse and special wildlife of Pembrokeshire, is being held on the evening of Wednesday, February 3, at the Merlin Theatre, Haverfordwest.

Local speakers will also share stories of their wildlife sightings in Pembrokeshire including Annie Haycock‘s insight into the Bats of Pembrokeshire, Matthew Tebbutt’s Gwaun Valley in 15 minutes and Bob Haycock’s Choughs caught on camera.

The evening also promotes the work of the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter and Marine Code groups.

The photography competition prizes this year have kindly been sponsored by The Port of Milford Haven and the public have been given the chance to see the entries before the event and are encouraged to vote for their favourite.

“Every year the PCF team enjoys showing off the wonderful photographic talent of the public,” said Jodie McGregor, PCF engagement coordinator.

“The aptitude amazes us year on year. We would like to thank the judges, The Port of Milford Haven and The Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park Authority who have supported the event this year.”
