A 'MUSICAL spectacular' featuring a host of young local talent comes to the Torch Theatre on Saturday, April 23.

Singers Aaron Pryce–Lewis and Elinor Crane will perform alongside Seren Irish Dancers and Greenhill Jazz Band.

The concert will be raising money for the HOPE Centre in Neyland, which offers treatments and support to people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's, and those who have suffered a stroke.

The centre, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, helps around 60 people a month – some of these daily.

Its annual running costs now total around £107,000, and relies heavily on donations and the efforts of its fundraising committee.

Aaron, who went to Sir Thomas Picton School in Haverfordwest, studies classical voice in London, and has performed in a range of musicals, as well as baritone in Brahms' Requiem and has performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

Having performed in Bugsy Malone, Oliver, Sweeney Todd and Phantom of the Opera, Sir Thomas Picton pupil Elinor now studies musical theatre at university, and has also worked as an assistant teacher at a stage school.

The Greenhill School Jazz Band performs traditional 'Big Band' style music, adding their own jazz flavour to other popular songs. The current band is made up of Year 11 to 13 pupils.

Members of Seren School of Irish Dance, run by sisters Cheryl and Lizzie John, have competed across Europe, earning a host of medals and trophies.

Tickets are £10, and can be booked through the Torch Theatre box office by telephoning 01646 695267.
