A DAD from Milford Haven will be running his first London Marathon this weekend, in aid of a disabled children's charity - but he needs your help.
Johnathan Arnold, 28, will be taking on the challenge for Whizz Kids, which aims to transform the lives of disabled children by providing the equipment, support and life skills they need - giving them the chance to develop their full potential.
But to be able to take part in the marathon Johnathan must raise £1700.
Thanks to generous donations from family and friends he has raised £1000 so far, but is appealing to Milford Mercury readers to help boost his total.
"This charity helps children everywhere," said Johnathan.
"Please don't worry about the size of your donation, large or small it all adds up."
"I have chosen to run for Whizz-Kidz not only because it is a great charity that generates fantastic support for children with disabilities, but also because since becoming a father myself I have realised just how important charities like Whizz-Kidz can be for not only the children themselves but also their families," he said.
