CARNIVAL fever hits Neyland and Llangwm today (Saturday).

In Llangwm, a day of medieval fun will take place at Pill Park, including amusement rides, bouncy castle, dog show, craft stalls, stocks and medieval re-enactments.

The carnival procession departs from The Cottage Inn car park at 1.45pm and arrives at Pill Park at 2pm.

The crowning of the Carnival Queen, King and attendants will take place at 2.15pm, with the judging of fancy dress at 2.30pm.

There will be evening entertainment from 5pm at The Cottage Inn, including ukelele band The Jumping Fleas, Pembrokeshire singer Rosey Cale and BBC’s The Voice star Ragsy.

Neyland's procession sets off from the Rose and Willow pub at 12.30pm, travelling down to the waterfront, and ending at the Athletic Club.

There will be stalls, a Rodeo Bull, Gravity Wire, slides, gladiators, bands, an energetic performance from Vibe Dance Group, lucky dips, games, a pig roast, hot drinks and chilled beers and wine.

There will be prizes for the best float, best walking entry, best group (10 or more), best pub entry, and best children’s group (10 or more).

The children’s age groups are under-5s, six to 10 years, and 11 to 15 years.
