MESSAGES written in memory of a 14-year-old girl from Milford Haven, who died last month, have washed up on a beach in Ireland.
The notes, written by school friends of Megan Evans, were cast into the sea three weeks ago, following an informal tribute service on the Rath.
This weekend, several of the letters were found on Benvoy Beach on Waterford’s Copper Coast.
They contain memories of the teenager, messages of love, poems and heart-shaped confetti.
After a photograph of the notes was posted on Facebook site Lost at Sea, it was spotted by a family friend, and the letters will now be returned to Megan’s mum Nicola Harteveld.
