Exhibition will place jubilees in the picture

TO CELEBRATE the Queen’s diamond jubilee there will be an exhibition of past local celebrations at St Clement’s Church Hall on June 1st.

Towns and villages across the county will be joining in the national celebrations and Neyland is no exception.

The committee is looking for photographs of events, parties and celebrations held in Neyland for the 1953 coronation and 1977 silver jubilee to add to those already collected for the exhibit.

The exhibition will raise funds for the H.O.P.E Centre.

Anyone who can loan pictures for the exhibition is asked to mark them for the attention of Simon Hancock and leave them at the Neyland Town Council office.

The pictures will be scanned and all will be returned.
