Seems you know very little about tourism. Yes there are tourists in the winter infact christmas and new year is very busy.
The tourist industry will bring more jobs and investment to the county than a handful of jobs at a nuclear sub base. Also consider that most new jobs will come from out of county, how many nuclear sub engineers live in milford haven?

People popping into the county for a few hours shopping does not mean Tourism, and to be honest, more leave Pembs to co into Carmarthen, Swansea, Cardiff area's to shop!! Lets be fair, Pembrokeshire Would benifit, Jobs, Housing. One Sub engineer wouldn't come on his own, 1 Sub Engineer would mean a Fleet, not a boat.

Oakwood not opening could be due to the weather and caldy during the winter rough seas would be out of the question.
However what I say is true, many caravan parks are quite full during christmas and new year.
Yes many jobs for this base would come out of county.
What is wrong with developing other jobs in the area? Ok what if it was proposed to have a nuclear waste depot in pembs? Or maybe a lap dancing club? These would create jobs yes?
