THE 70th anniversary of VE Day was celebrated in style in Neyland recently.
On May 6, members of St Tudwal and St Clement churches marked the occasion day by hosting a lunch at the church hall.
£405 was raised for the new church hall fund and a further £120 in raffle money is being sent to the Mothers' Union overseas aid programme.
And a service on May 8 organised by the town council and led by Rev Alan Chadwick was followed by a bonfire beacon near the Yacht Club.
Cheques for £500 were also presented to the VC Gallery, Neyland Ladies Choir, Neyland Brownies, Judo Club by outgoing mayor Cllr Simon Hancock.
