Tiny tots have trotted out in their best fancy dress to take part in the UK’s biggest charity event for under-fives.
The youngsters from the Busy Bees nursery at Cold Blow followed the theme of fairtytale characters to join in the 2013 Barnardo’s Big Toddle, which raises money to help disadvantaged children.
Robin Hood and Snow White were amongst the costumes chosen, and the children, staff and parents enjoyed toddling down the lane next to the nursery.
The children are now looking forward to their term’s theme of Autumn, when activities will include bread-making and visitng the local baker. They have already watched barley being harvested in the field next door to the nursery and have collected blackberries to make tarts.
