IDEAS and suggestions for the future of the old school site in Narberth are being invited.

Pembrokeshire county Council is shortly holding a community engagement event in the town to find out what the public would like to do with the site.

The building has been vacant for several years following the construction of the new school.

Attempts have been made to redevelop the site in accordance with the Local Development Plan. Planning consent was secured for a mixed retail and residential scheme but this did not proceed.

The public are invited to have their say in the matter in a drop-in event between 3 pm and 8 pm at Queen’s Hall, Narberth, on Monday March 13.

Those attending who wish to use the Welsh language should inform the council of their desire a minimum of five working days in advance of the session. This will enable the authority to have a Welsh speaker in attendance.
