RNLI COFFEE MORNING Over £400 for RNLI funds was raised by a recent coffee morning by the Narberth branch of the charity in conjunction with the Saundersfoot Ladies Guild, at Narberth RAOB Club. Raffle winners were Iris Bevan, Mr Beecham, Brian Toms, Ann Phillips, Mrs Morris, Mollie Evans and Elizabeth Morris.

RFC MEETING A meeting of vice presidents and patrons of Narberth RFC will be held at the clubhouse tomorrow (Thursday) at 8pm. Presentations will be given by director of rugby, Jonathan Dodd and director of rugby development, Kenny Davies together with other club officials. Vice presidents and patrons attending the meeting will receive light refreshments. The meeting is also open to supporters who are interested in becoming vice presidents or patrons.

RUGBY FIXTURE On Saturday, Narberth are away to Tondu in Division One West. The supporters’ bus will leave the clubhouse at 12.15pm.

NARBERTH WI The agm was held at the rugby club. Secretary Bunty Hallwood reported on a busy year when members had enjoyed a variety of speakers, outings and events at local, Federation and national level. Val Winter gave the treasurer’s report and president Josie Sexton thanked her officers, committee and members for their support and encouragement throughout the year The outgoing secretary and treasurer were thanked for all their hard work and agreed to stay on the committee. Members then enjoyed making Advent calendars, with materials prepared by Meg Turner, before tea. Val Winter won the raffle. The next meeting is a Christmas party and entertainment at the rugby club Thursday December 1st at 2 pm. Visitors and new members are always welcome.The Christmas Lunch will be at Nant-y-ffin on Friday December 9th at 12.30 pm.
