Members of the Newcastle Emlyn based Hardy Plant Society met recently to hear an enthusiastic, illustrated talk by Swansea based Carrie Thomas on how to attract a range of butterflies into the garden. It focussed not only on nectar providers, but also on the vegetation needs of caterpillars and pupae.
The next monthly meeting of the Hardy Plant Group is on Tuesday, 6th December with a talk by Joseph Atkin, the new Head Gardener at Aberglasney on 'Plant Hunting Abroad'. Non Members are always welcome.
