IT was Pandemonium at Golden Grove School the week before last as pupils got to experience what life was like in the Victorian times and discover world wildlife.
Pandemonium Theatre Company took key stage two pupils on a journey through Victorian life, from the school cane to sweeping chimneys and a weaving factory, while foundation phase pupils explored wildlife from all over the world.
Year two pupils enjoyed a rainforest safari at Folly Farm. Staff from the National Botanical Gardens of Wales showed pupils the plants which can be found in the rainforest, providing both food and medicines.
The pupils saw the farm’s animals, including squirrel monkeys, followed by an Indigo Theatre puppet show about the importance of protecting the rainforest.
