THE new president of Pembroke Rotary Club officially took over the reins at the club’s annual handover event at Stackpole Mencap Walled Gardens.
Outgoing president Emyr Williams welcomed the incoming president Jonathan Davies and wished him every success during his forthcoming year of office.
Mr Williams thanked everyone for their support throughout a very successful year during which the club has supported local, national and international charities and good causes.
Members and friends enjoyed a barbeque with lawn games and entertainment.
Special guest for the evening was assistant district governor Vanessa Walker, of the Rotary Club of Fishguard and Goodwick.
Thanking the outgoing president, Mr Davies said: "It's a privilege and an honour to become president of Pembroke Rotary Club, which works so hard for our local community.
“We have an exciting programme of events planned for next year which will be both rewarding and enjoyable.
“I would like to thank everyone who works so hard to make Pembroke Rotary a success."
