PLANS to build 32 houses in Hundleton were unanimously backed by councillors last week.
The planning application from WH & NL Developments came before the County Council’s planning committee on Tuesday, November 4 with a recommendation for approval, subject to a legal agreement and conditions.
The residential development comprises of 20 single storey bungalows, 10 houses and two flats, as well as dedicated parking spaces and a play area.
It will be built on agricultural land east of Bentlass Road, leading into Hundleton.
Hundleton Community Council has raised concerns about the proposal in respect of the provision of pedestrian facilities and sewage disposal facilities.
The consultation also resulted in one third party representation which objected to the scheme on the grounds of the effect on residential amenity due to the proposal vehicular access.
Councillor Brian Hall said: “I appreciate there are some concerns and I’m sure they will be resolved.”
His motion to approve the application in line with the recommendation was seconded by Cllr Wynne Evans and all councillors voted in favour.
