CLASSIC cars, ranging from a humble Austin A35 van to an exotic Alvis coupe, paid a visit to the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre on Saturday morning, August 1.

The display, ahead of this year’s Quins Carnival, saw 18 classic cars, including a World War Two Jeep and a rare 1927 Citroen Tourer, delighted the visitors to the event.

Many of the cars then joined in the parade of the Pembroke Dock Harlequin’s Carnival.

Cup winners for the event were: Best Restored Classic, Peter Baker form Pembroke Dock with his 1964 S type Jaguar; Car of the Show Mike Spuffard from Stackpole, with his 1927 Citroen B12 Torpedo Tourer, and rosette winner Peter Williams with his Austin Seven.

It is hoped to stage a similar event at the Dockyard Chapel later in the year.
