A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has amazed members of Pembroke dock Town council, both with his creativity and his generosity.

Sam Brown presented a hand turned a wooden bowl, made from old pallets, to the town mayor Peter Kraus just before the council’s meeting last Thursday.

The spalted beech bowl will be raffled to raise funds for the mayor’s charity, The Alzheimer’s Society.

Raffle tickets are for sale from the town council offices with the draw taking place on Saturday December 5 at the Christmas grotto.

Pembroke Dock Mayor Peter Kraus said: “It was an absolute pleasure to meet Sam Brown and see the fantastic workmanship that he has done, Last Thursday he came to our town council meeting in Pembroke Dock and presented me with this lovely bowl made from pallets.

“I could not believe such a masterpiece could be made by someone who is only 13 but it sure was true.”
