PEMBROKE Dock’s Pater Hall played host to the town’s very own second annual beer festival on February 19 and 20.

Organised and run by the town's regeneration team, chaired by local businessmen Mark Carter and James Parfitt, the festival built on last year's successful event with a wide range of alcoholic delicacies on tap.

Entertainment was provided by several local bands performing a range of music, from classic covers to their own songs.

The event, which aims to bring prosperity and good cheer to the town, is just one of a variety taking place this year.

Local businesses were invited to sponsor a barrel of beer, most of which was provided by local breweries.

Fruit of the Welsh vine was also on show in the shape of local red and white wines and could also be sampled.

Mark Carter said: "We couldn't have hoped for a better turnout, but it's all part and parcel of the regeneration team's mission to bring more people from across the town and county to the Dock and keep them coming back. Thanks ever so much to everyone who came for pint-sized fun over the two days, plus Don of the Station Inn, The Pater Hall trustees and everyone else on the regen team. Watch this space for more great events coming to the town in the months ahead and don't forget to keep your free festival glass for next year."
