A PEMBROKE gymnastics academy has been busy helping shoppers, and doing a little fundraising, in Pembroke Dock.

Young members of Elements Gymnastics Academy took part in a fundraising ‘bag packing’ activity at Pembroke Dock Tesco on Sunday February 28.

Elements has been operating for the past three years from its main base at Pembroke 21C, Foundry House Community Centre.

Elements has been fundraising since establishment for a permanent facility to enable the club to offer activities 24/7 for the children from the local communities.

The fundraising target is to raise £25,000 and has raised £22,500.

Managing Director of Elements Gymnastics Academy Jadie Edwards said: “All members done a super job packing customers bags which has raised a fantastic £337.22 for the club. The future dream facility is nearly at reach.

“Elements couldn’t thank you all enough for all you had done to help promote the club and raise the funds for the future facility.

“Huge well done and thank you to all gymnasts, parents, coaches and Tesco for their fantastic support.”

The club would like to thank the Pembroke Dock Lions for recently donating £250, Asda for £50 from the green token collections, and many other organisations who have donated money to the fundraising cause.
