GOLDEN Grove School was a blaze of colour recently with a display of Easter Bonnets in the school hall.
Pupils from all years had been invited to take part in a bonnet making competition.
Cakes, chicks, eggs, flowers and more, were used in the creation of wonderful hats.
The judges were very impressed with the array of designs.
After displaying their hats on a catwalk the winners from each class were given a certificate and an Easter egg to go home with.
The Friends of Golden Grove later put on an Easter Bingo session raising funds for the school.
Head Teacher Andy Williams said: "The bonnet competition was fantastic, we will no doubt be running it again in future years. The standard was very high and all those taking part are to be commended. I also want to thank our Friends Group for the funds raised at the bingo."
